January 13- February 20   Team Registrations
February 15- Grant applications due
March 1- Opening Ceremony and grant proposal dinner.  (Location of dinner TBA)
March 2- Left of the Lake Games at Gateway Technical College Madrigano Hall
March 4-8- Award selections and hanging of "Left of the Lake Games"  art at ArtWorks
March 9- 6-9 pm Award Ceremony and artists opening reception at ArtWorks
April 9 "Left of the Lake Games" art show closes
April 9-12  Pick up art from ArtWorks



The Hard Guidelines

*  All participants must be at least 18 years of age*  4-8 members per team with a $150 entry fee (per team)
*  Team uniforms (matching t-shirts are recommended, but not required
*  All team members must participate in at least one event
*  Prize medallions will be awarded for the top 3 places in each event
*  A trophy will be awarded to the team with the overall highest score
*  A point system will be used to score each event every team will earn points from the jurors for every event  
*  Each team will be required to bring a Team Toolbox.  The tool boxes will be checked in  the acceptable items in the toolbox are:
   3 paint brushes- Acrylic paint: black, white, blue, red, yellow- Sand Paper- Exacto Knife (bring extra blades)- Lino. cutters- Wire cutters- Needle nose pliers- 
   Duct tape-  Graphite pencil- black permanent marker- water based black relief ink.
*  Cancellations/ Changes and Refunds:  Refunds will be issued for cancellations made before 5:00 pm. Saturday February 23rd. (less a $10.00 processing 
   fee) Refunds will not be issued for ANY REASON after the February 23rd deadline.

The Soft Notes

*  Each participant will receive a Left of the Lake Games t-shirt, an Art Yummy Lunch in a box, and a participatory print*  The Left of the Lake Games were      
   created strictly as a social event:
   The participating jurors range in age from 7+ and come from all walks of life
   The scoring is discrete- Only the top three scores are being made public, the rest of the scores simply get added to the overall team score
*  Whether your team is representing a city, an organization, the local plumbers union, or whatever, We encourage team uniforms, a team banner or flag,or                else that you can think of.  Team Spirit! 
*  If the demand is there we would be happy to start a pool of individuals who would like to participate but do not have enough people to form a team-contact us.
